A fine example of a traditional slipware pottery charger from red earthenware clay.
From the hands of acclaimed studio potter ‘Carole Glover’ at her studio based in Stafford.
The words speak for themselves. A Pair of owls and stylised flowers decorate the flat bowl interior and meticulous slipware dot painting around the rim
Signed on the reverse.

Her work includes Thomas Toft Chargers that she made for the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in Stoke on Trent.
Her work has also been sold at the V&A museum in London.
In good condition, no chips or cracks. Some light glaze crazing on the honey coloured flower heads, in part due to its size during the firing
