Frantisek Vizner was one of the most important, innovative, and internationally influential Czech glass designers of the 20th Century.
This tapered vase with ovoid lobes was produced after Frantisek Vizner finished his study at the Academy of Applied Art under the
tutelage of Professors Karl Stipl and Platek in 1962.
After graduating, he produced progressive glass designs for the Sklo Union group of factories.
His work can be found in many museums and important institutions and his studio works command high prices at auction.
Produced by Hermanova Hut factory this style of vase was exhibited at the Č.L.S Gottwaldov. Getting your work exhibited there
