West German ceramic Ruscha wall Plaque

Mid-century 1960s – 1970s

Displaying a Bull in raised relief on a matte black painted terracotta ground

Dimensions

Height – 22cm

Length – 42cm

Tile thickness – 2cm

The raised relief of the bull makes the tile much thicker in those areas

All measurements approximate.

In good condition, some slight loss of matte black paint on the edges which I have left original. No chips or cracks. Bent wire has been threaded through the two holes in the ceramic form on the reverse to hang the artwork up.
