Humppila Glass was a Finnish company that was in production between 1952 and 1986. Glass manufacture in Humppila, Southern Finland was founded by three brothers, Jonni, Martti, and Olavi Helander, all former glass blowers at Nuutajärvi. In 1970 the company was bought by Rolf Alander. Humppila took over the Mumela factory in 1979, and in 1986 was taken over by Nuutajärvi; in 1988 Humppila became part of the newly merged littala-Nuutajärvi Oy.

Pertti Santalahti was a Finnish designer and graduated in 1962. In the years 1971-1981 he was the product developer of Humppila glass and since 1974 the artistic designer of glassworks in Humppila

A Vintage Scandinavian amber and clear textured bowl. Made by Humppila of Finland in the 1970s and designed by Pertti Santalahti. Part of the Kivi-set range. (Kivi means stone in Finnish)

Engraved signature to the base, although it is difficult to identify against the dark textured glass.
